Class Summary

For this class we learn to change the color of the Vormator Character by using different tools. We change the color of the monster character by using gradient tool. Besides, we also use an example photo to change the color of the monster character in Adobe Illustrator.

1.Color monster

Tool:  Eyedropper Tool and Curvature Tool

 Our task is to recolor the monster and add some darker shadows on it. Mr Hafiz teach us to group up the shapes which is the same colour and change the colour to our preference. After changing the colour, we are taught to add on the shadows using different colour. I use the curvature tool to make the strokes look better in it. Next, I use object > path > offset path > -10 to make different layering in the monster mouth.

2. Gradient monster
Tool: Gradient Tool

After learning the recoloring of the monster, we were taught to use the gradient tool in class. Using the gradient tool we can change the colour of the monster into gradient. Besides, we can also control the size of the gradient tool.

For the last task, Mr Hafiz told us to find a picture online and use the colour of the picture to change the colour of the monster into the same theme of the picture.
