👉INTRO
For the design, I decided to go for some galaxy style. I want myself to be in the universe and having fun in it.

👉PARAGRAPH 1

👉PARAGRAPH 2
For the animation part, I decide to first zoom in the galaxy and next me coming in. For the other planets I will make it spin of move around me. I want the design to be magical and full of freedom, so I will make the stars glow . For the music I will use a song I love when I am young.

👉SUMMARY

While exploring Pinterest, I came across a plethora of captivating galaxy-themed collage designs. These references sparked a surge of ideas within me. Among them, I was particularly drawn to an image featuring a girl sitting on a planet in the first poster. Inspired by this visual, I made the exciting decision to incorporate the same pose into my upcoming photo shoot.

3. Sketches

After conducting my research, I began sketching out my idea for the poster. Initially, I envisioned a seated pose as the central focus of the artwork. To enhance the visual appeal, I decided to fill the poster with vibrant planets of various colors. As for the background, I wanted to create a captivating scene by incorporating a celestial display of stars alongside playful cats.

3. Digitalize

We are assigned by Mr. Martin to take pictures at the photo studio. It is a wonderful experience for me, we help each other to take photos and learn how to use the camera and help to communicate with others on their post to get a better picture.

I mask out myself from the photo I choose, it is easier to mask out the subject with a clean background. After select and mask myself I start on the digitalize of my poster design.

After immersing myself in the vastness of the universe, I opted for a darker color palette for the background, emulating the cosmic expanse. To create a mesmerizing effect, I incorporated an abundance of stars, giving the poster a sparkling allure.

For the first design, I took a minimalistic approach, using fewer elements to achieve a clean and refined aesthetic. The focal points remained intact, with my seated figure atop a planet, accompanied by the presence of playful cats.

In contrast, the second design adopted a more intricate composition. While retaining the key elements of my seated pose on a planet and the inclusion of cats, I incorporated additional complexities into the overall layout, resulting in a visually captivating poster.

4. Final Poster Outcome

Upon receiving feedback from Mr. Martin, I came to the realization that a light background would be more suitable for the poster, creating a sense of fantasy. With this in mind, I embarked on the task of implementing a new background for the artwork and made adjustments to the positioning of various elements.

By incorporating a light background, the poster took on a more whimsical and enchanting appearance. I carefully repositioned the elements to enhance their visual impact and harmonize them with the newfound background. This allowed for a refreshed composition that captured the essence of the poster in a captivating and imaginative manner.

5. Self Titled Animation

Fig 3.1 Adobe After Effect

After finalizing the design of the poster, I proceeded to animate it using Adobe After Effects. To add an engaging dynamic element, I made the decision to incorporate rotation into the animation. I allowed the elements within the poster to rotate in one direction, while the background rotated in a different direction, creating a mesmerizing effect.

This animation technique gave the impression that the elements were emerging from the image, enhancing the visual impact and capturing the viewer's attention. The rotational motion added a sense of movement and depth, further immersing the viewer in the fantastical world depicted in the poster.

I embarked on animating all the posters I had designed, and during the process, I discovered that the light background provided the most visually appealing results when paired with animation. It added a touch of enchantment and brought out the magical qualities of the artwork.

To enhance the overall experience, I carefully selected a musical box sound that held nostalgic significance from an anime movie I cherished during my youth. The reason behind this choice was to evoke a sense of fantasy, portraying the dream-like sensation of being surrounded by galaxies and playful cats. The melody intertwined with the animation, creating an immersive and whimsical atmosphere, inviting viewers to delve into a world of wonder.
