1920 X 1080, 25 fps, ACC, 48kHz, uploaded to YouTube channel).
#Research & Idea Brainstorming
I chose SOMERSBY cider as the product to animate. It's an alcoholic drink often enjoyed at parties and comes in various flavors. I personally like this drink because it's suitable for beginners and offers a range of colors that are great for animation.

# Progress
For Project 2, we were tasked with creating an animation to reflect the channel's logo. For the Somersby logo, which features a tree, I decided to animate the tree growing and transforming into the logo. I drew the elements in Photoshop using various brushes. I particularly liked the brush texture, as it gave the animation a childlike, hand-drawn feel.
For the background, I initially considered using a plain white backdrop but found it too dull. Instead, I decided to use the colors associated with the different Somersby cider flavors as the background colors. The flavors I chose are blueberry cider, apple cider, blackberry cider, and pear cider, so the background colors will be blue, green, purple, and yellow. I animated the background to gradually transition between these colors, creating a rainbow-like effect.
I animated the entire project in Adobe After Effects, starting by drawing the elements in Photoshop. At first, I didn't clearly note the timing, which made editing more time-consuming. However, once I added the background music and synchronized it with the elements, I found it satisfying to see the visuals align with the music.

FEEDBACK
After consulting with Mr. Fauzi on Project 2, I made several enhancements to the advertisement for Somersby Cider, particularly focusing on the logo. Mr. Fauzi provided valuable feedback on the timing of the logo’s animation, which helped me adjust the pacing to ensure a smooth and engaging visual flow. Furthermore, he advised me on improving the typography to better match the brand's identity and make the text more readable. His suggestions on both timing and typography were crucial in refining the overall look and making the advertisement more cohesive. Mr. Fauzi also complimented the improvements I made, noting that these adjustments significantly enhanced the final result.
REFLECTIONS
Project 2 was an channel bumper focusing more on the details of the logo. I worked on making the logo look visually appealing and consistent with the brand's identity. This involved spending a lot of time on the animation and placement of the logo to ensure it was prominent and well-integrated into the video. This experience helped me understand the importance of brand consistency and the role of small details in creating a cohesive advertisement. The skills I developed in working on the logo's design and animation were invaluable and provided a strong foundation for my work in Project 3. Mr. Fauzi's guidance was also crucial in helping me refine these elements and achieve a polished final result.
