# Ideation

I love traveling, so I decided to create an animation showcasing my journeys around the world. I started by looking for references on YouTube and Pinterest and then animated how I travel from place to place, highlighting the unique aspects of each destination.

After researching, I realized this topic is a great way to express my love for travel. I hope to inspire viewers to share my passion and feel encouraged to explore the world themselves.

# Sketches
To create transitions in the animation, I used an airplane to guide the viewer's eye, with lines helping to direct the flow. I included many pictures from different countries to inspire viewers. I spent time researching the unique aspects of each country to ensure I selected accurate images that wouldn't confuse the audience. The countries featured are a mix of places I've visited and ones I wish to travel to in the future.

# Progress

At first, I planned to draw the elements myself, but I wasn't satisfied with the results. So, I decided to use icons instead, which I found to be a better idea. The icons are used in the front scenes of the animation.

For the picture display, I decided to use an Instax style to showcase images from different countries. Each picture is set against a background that highlights the unique aspects of the respective country. Besides, I included a cute avatar walking through as the pictures change, creating the impression that I'm journeying through these countries myself.

For the audio, I chose a cheerful background music track to set a happy tone. I also added airplane flying sound effects during the airplane transitions. Furthermore, I included "Hi" sound effects in different languages corresponding to each country as their pictures are shown.

# Final Outcome of Final Project

FEEDBACK
Mr. Fauzi suggested that I choose better typography to ensure viewers can quickly grasp the information presented in the video. He recommended using Arial Bold, which I found to be a better choice than my initial selection. I realized the importance of clear and effective typography in delivering a message. Mr. Fauzi's guidance has been invaluable, especially since I am still gaining experience with Adobe After Effects. His feedback has helped me make more informed decisions and improve the overall quality of my project.

REFLECTIONS
The final project for my Motion Graphics and Compositing class presented some unique challenges. While I often have strong ideas for composition, my developing skills in After Effects sometimes made it difficult to fully realize my creative vision. However, I found the creation process to be quite enjoyable. The compositions occasionally took unexpected turns, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the project. This experience has boosted my confidence and motivation for future projects, as I continue to grow my skills in motion graphics and compositing.
