Class Summary
Tool: Patterns, Drawing Modes and the Width ToolMr Hafiz send us the practice file in Microsoft Teams and video for us to learn. We watch the video and try ourself in Adobe Illustrator. Our task today is to create and edit patterns using shapes and tools.
1.Create and edit patterns
For the first practice is to draw a polygon shape and click > transform > scale and turn the uniform into 80 percent. After that, go to object > pattern > make, and it will turn into patterns for us to use in future.Fig 10.1 Polygon Patterns
After trying the polygon patterns, Mr Hafiz teach us to change the size of the patterns. We can change the size by changing the uniform size in scale, and tick the box transform object.
I have a try on changing the patterns in the star shape and I reduce the size and make it more crowded.
2. Apply patterns in line
